World In Her Hands

She said "God I'm not afraid of who I am and who I'm ready to be"

She once told me that she wanted to be that one,

That one who wanted to hold the entire world in her hands.

She wanted only to be with the birds and the trees,

She was so innocent to the worlds evil until the trees became the bees.

She said "God I love him and he loves me, we will be together forever"

She once told me that he was the one and that he would never hurt her,

The one she wanted to spend her entire life with and the one to hold her heart in his hands.

She gave him the birds and the bees and she was forever broken when he left,

Soon the birds and the bees became nothing but withered roses.

She said "God I'm sorry for all I've done and I will see you soon"

She once told me she wanted to go back to being that little girl wanting to hold the whole world in her hands,

The one who wanted to be able to be free and with knowledge of the evil around her.

She set herself free and she wasn't in this world anymore,

I hope somewhere and somehow,

She holds the whole world in her hands.
