Literature Text

If I gave you a kiss, would you love me?
If I told you I love you, would it be?
If you treat me like dirt,
I'll show you what its like to hurt,
Because too many times I have been burned,
And now I have learned,
Not to trust,
To happiness or bust,
To this I must say,
No longer with hate will I lay,
This is not a contest or a game,
Because if so, then your just the same,
The same as all the others,
But maybe we can be lovers,
And go through it all,
And still stand tall,
But when you ring heartbreaks bell,
Then I'll grab your ankle and drag you down to f^cking hell,
Don't ask me why I have no love for anyone but you,
But baby what I'm saying is true,
I wasn't joking when I said I would always be true,
Even when the sky is black, or when it is blue,
Through the storm, I will still be standing there waiting,
Waiting, and debating,
Debating whether I should hold you, even with your sass,
Debating whether I should trust you with my heart of glass.
Wrote this when I was in a horrid relationship
